How can a safety-first message reach staff and their extended families? By creating and bringing to life a set of road safety ‘Golden Rules’. According to the World Health Organisation, road traffic crashes result in the deaths of approximately 1.3 million people around the world each year and leave between 20 and 50 million people with non-fatal and fatal injuries.
Be Puma Safe campaign, was designed to prevent road accidents, by taking action to ensure safe roads, safe vehicles and improving behaviours across Puma Energy operations.
We launch the Be Puma Safe campaign, on UN Global Road Safety Week, across 48 countries, to infuse road safety ‘Golden Rules’ supported by everyday safety icons, about good road safety habits.
Be Puma Safe campaign day extended to physical branded materials; posters, cars bumper stickers, mobile screen safety reminders, web banners, screensavers, children goodie bags, baseball caps, t-shirts and Road Safety Toolkit, through to staff internal training platform, to help make this a memorable day for all employees, families and the communities Puma Energy serve everyday.
The global road safety campaign took on a life of its own, as Puma Energy employees around world organised open days, where they could bring their children and families, into the work environment to learn the importance of staying safe, with the help of our Be Puma Safe campaign toolkit.
